Creativity - Where do you get yours?
I've also been out taking pictures when the weather is a little nicer. We've had a few days of warmer weather last week, so I went to Cedarburg to take pictures of a waterfall. Instead, I was completely fascinated by a bunch of ducks that were enjoying the weather as much as we were. Doesn't this duck look like he's saluting? So cute! And I don't even particularly like ducks.
I'm thinking of creating some cards with these photos. I absolutely love the color of the setting sun; how it makes everything glow with warmth and purpose and life and just makes everything look better than it is in any other light.
This day, I came around the corner and this view stopped me dead in my tracks. Quite literally. How often do you see a nearly full moon so brightly in practically day-light? I sure haven't seen this often.
What do you think about these?

Little Sunshines Set
I've had these funky beads for a few years before I decided what I wanted to do with them. It seems to be a theme here, but perhaps it's true with the pieces I'm making recently. You see, I've been trying to live to my newly-adopted philosophy of using everything I have, not wasting anything. This started with food, but it seems to be spilling into other aspects of my life and I like it.
Back to the beads though. When I purchased them, I didn't realize all the variation in them: some are smaller and brown and not shiny, some are greener and shiny and some are slightly more brownish pink and shiny.
Once I realized all the variety, the next step was to marry these little cuties with the appropriate metal spacer. This barrel-shaped component worked perfectly in size and shape with the beads.

Rivers of Green - Moss Agate Bracelet and Necklace
This just reminds me of spring so much, and at this point in the winter, I like ANYTHING that reminds me of spring. The moss agate looks like spring suspended in some magical vessel. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with these beauties and I settled on something very simple, uncluttered, and elegant. Hope you enjoy this set as much as I do.
This set includes a bracelet and a necklace, but I can sell them separately.
